What's the difference between Solo 1, Solo 2 and Solo 5?

Solo 1 is a single-day shift: you're home after every shift. Solo 2 is a 2-day trip with one night in a sleeper cab. Solo 5 is a 5-day run with up to 4 nights out, then you're home for your days off. All three are solo positions.

What is an Amazon Freight Partner (AFP)?

Amazon Freight Partners are independently owned trucking companies that haul freight for Amazon's middle-mile network, moving loads between fulfillment centers, sort centers, and delivery stations. Triple J Enterprises Inc is one of these partners.

Am I employed by Triple J or by Amazon?

You will not be employed by Amazon. You'll work directly for Triple J Enterprises Inc, a local transportation company that partners with Amazon, as a W-2 employee. Triple J handles your pay, benefits, and scheduling, and you run Amazon loads in Amazon-branded equipment.

How much will I make?

Solo 1 pay starts at $22 per hour, and Solo 1 drivers average $50,000 gross pay per year, with overtime and extra shifts available. Ask your recruiter for current Solo 2 and Solo 5 pay.

Will I have to load or unload trailers?

No. All Amazon loads are 100% no-touch freight. Your job is to drive safely and deliver on time.

What kind of trucks will I drive?

Amazon-branded trucks with state-of-the-art equipment and technology: brand-new day cabs on Solo 1, and sleeper cabs on overnight routes.

How fast is the hiring process?

Fast. Qualified drivers can get an on-the-spot offer, contingent on passing the DOT physical, background check, and drug screen.
